COUZ
by Rabelle Erian, Camille Tricaud
France, Germany, 2017, 30’

What would you do, if you were 17, in Marseille, school was over and summer felt like an eternity? A group of youth spends day and night together. All the while, their everyday stories are transformed into rap-texts. This film is a portrait of friendship and language. A portrait of a group, with its own rules and dynamics. A portrait of a time, summer time, free of commitments and open for new things to come.

CHAQUE MUR EST UNE PORTE
Every Wall is a Door
by Elitza Gueorguieva
France, 2017, 58’

We are in 1989 and the Berlin Wall has just been dismantled. In the surrealist set of a program of the Bulgarian State Television dedicated to youth, a female journalist poses philosophical and “existentialist” questions to workers, students, hippies, and political scientists: “At the end of the life, what expectations are the most important, those that were fulfilled or those that were failed?”. That young journalist was the mother of the filmmaker of this films made of political archives, in addition to personal texts.
