Cinema, citizenship and creativity for the new generations.

Popoli Next Generation is the Festival dei Popoli project dedicated to children, adolescents and young people, created with the support of Fondazione CR Firenze.

A journey that accompanies the new generations from infancy through to upper secondary school, using documentary cinema as a tool for discovery, dialogue and participation. The objective is to bring young people closer to contemporary audiovisual languages, stimulate a critical and conscious outlook on the world, and offer concrete opportunities to experiment, express themselves and get to know cinema and its professions first-hand.

Popoli Next Generation connects cinema, education, creativity and the local area, recognising the new generations not only as the audience of tomorrow, but also as the protagonists of today’s cultural life.

The project is divided into three complementary programmes: Popoli for Kids and Teens, Popoli Young Jury Day, Popoli Next Lab.
