WHY WE FIGHT

POURQUOI ON SE BAT

France | 2023 | 70 min

Recommended age 14+

Camille Etienne, a young activist decides to set sail on a boat with two friends for a journey to the edge of the world to see for herself the effects of climate change. This will be only the first leg of a multifaceted odyssey that will lead the protagonists to test themselves, first and foremost, with their own fears and contradictions. While immobility reigns at the summits of world power, the documentary recounts with breathtaking photography the metamorphosis of nature in consonance with the transformations of the young protagonists, capable of intimately questioning themselves in a rapidly changing world.
