The Festival dei Popoli at the third Oxfam Festival
The Festival dei Popoli will be present at the third edition of the Oxfam Festival, entitled ‘Let's create a future of equality’ (Florence from 24 to 26 October), with the film LIMITS OF EUROPE by Apolena Rychlíková, scheduled for Saturday 26 October at 8pm at the Cinema la Compagnia.
The Oxfam Festival is the national event that Oxfam, a global movement fighting against inequalities to put an end to poverty and injustice, promotes in Italy with the collaboration of numerous partners with the aim of creating a place where different voices can meet and compare, where proposals, initiatives and tools to fight inequalities and create a more inclusive society can be devised.
The screening, which will be introduced by Alessandro Stellino, artistic director of the Festival dei Popoli, and by the director Apolena Rychlíková, anticipates the Habitat section of the Festival dei Popoli (from 2 to 10 November), which will present 11 films dedicated to themes linked to the environment, sustainable development and human rights in the world, in line with the objectives and priorities of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
