Winners of the 2025 edition of European Documentary Academy:
FipaDoc Award: Ni dieu ni père by Paul Kermarec (France)
The Campus Pro is a programme for students and emerging talents offering tailored activities during Fipadoc’s Industry Days. It provides participants with an introduction to the documentary industry helping them expand their knowledge and build their professional network. Next Fipadoc edition will take place in Biarritz between January 23/31, 2026. The award consists of one (1) Campus Pro accreditation, giving access to all films and Industry sessions.
Sheffield DocFest Networking Award: Seablindness by Tereza Smetanová (Slovakia)
Sheffield DocFest Networking Award will support emerging talents to discover and connect with the UK and international documentary industry and it consists of 2 Industry Passes to attend Sheffield DocFest 2026 giving access to the whole Festival Programme and Industry activities.
TIDF AGORA Networking Award: Let me circle around you by Aiya Akilzhanova (Belgium, Kazakhstan, Portugal, Hungary)
TIDF AGORA Networking Award will support emerging talents to discover and connect with the Greek and international documentary industry and it consists of 2 Industry Passes to attend TIDF28 AGORA (March 2026) giving access to the whole Festival Programme and Industry activities including the pitching forums, one-to-one meetings, masterclasses, and networking events.
VdR–Industry Award: Abortion Party by Julia Mellen (Spain)
Dedicated to cinema professionals, VdR–Industry and its activities represent a springboard for future films to find support in every stage of their production. For its next edition, VdR–Industry will happen from April 19–22, 2026. The award consists of one (1) all-access industry accreditation.

"IL CINEMA PER TUTTI" - Sudtitles Accessibility Award 2025: I’m in Heaven by Daniele Gaglianone (Italy)
SudTitles Palermo has been operating since 2011 to promote film culture, providing various services including subtitles, subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing (SDH), and audio description for the blind and visually impaired. The award, presented within the "Proxima" program, offers the winning film the creation of SDH subtitles and their upload to the SudTitles app.
RIDM Rough Cut Pitch 2025 Award: Cosa rimane quando il mare si muove (What remains when the sea moves) by Gaetano Crivaro (Italy)
The RIDM Forum, the professional market of the Rencontres internationales du documentaire de Montréal (RIDM), is pleased to invite a creative documentary project in post-production, selected jointly with the Festival dei Popoli, to take part in the Rough Cut Pitch of the 21st edition of the RIDM Forum, taking place from November 24 to 26, 2025.
The selected participant will have the opportunity to present their project, along with a 10 minutes film excerpt, during a live pitch session in front of an audience of renowned international documentary industry professionals - including representatives from festivals, distribution companies, sales agents, broadcasters, and digital platforms.
This invitation includes travel and accommodation for the producer of the project, as well as a RIDM + Forum accreditation, which also provides access to one-on-one meetings.
