THE DEAF MUSIC

France | 2024 | 56 min | col. | o.v. French

Three deaf children with cochlear implants - Alexandre, Léandre and Evan - step into a singular orchestra where silence meets sound. Created at the Marseille Conservatory by Alexandre’s father, it unites deaf and hearing children, signers and musicians. Guided by Malvina, a half-deaf pianist, they explore and move together toward a music of their own. (S.S.)
