"Traces of Landscape" by Petr Zaruba (Czech Republic, Italy, 67', 2020) explores the life and art of Jan Jedlicka, a Czech painter who found inspiration in the countryside near Castiglione della Pescaia and among the beaches of Marina d'Alberese. The documentary offers a visual experimentation between abstract expressionism and Earth matter, reflecting the artist's deep connection with the Maremma landscape.
In addition to "Traces of Landscape," the Maremma Digital Media Library will offer two other titles never before seen in the area, further enriching the review with works that explore and celebrate the Maremma.
