PROXIMA: the projects of the second edition
PROXIMA is the section of Doc at Work Industry dedicated to Italian films in editing and post-production; an opportunity to discover the Italian documentary cinema of the immediate future and present it to representatives of international festivals and professionals.
The selected projects of this second edition are:
- After the Storm by Francesco Rufini
- Il castello indistruttibile by Danny Biancardi, Stefano La Rosa and Virginia Nardelli
- Mater by Fatima Bianchi
- Mia di Enrico Maisto
- On the Serbian Border by Federico Cammarata and Filippo Foscarini
- The Temple of Memory by Alberto Gemmi
On Thursday 7 November, at 10 a.m. at the Cinema Astra, directors and producers of the selected projects will showcase their films, showing excerpts to an audience of international experts and festival programmers. Alice Burgin, Head of Industry at Visions du Réel, will moderate the session.
In the afternoon, One-to-One meetings will be organised with festival programmers and other professionals.
Entrance allowed only with Industry accreditation. One-to-one meetings by invitation only.
