Doc at Work - Future Campus

The Doc at Work Future Campus Project

Established in 2013 as a laboratory of ideas for audiences and professionals, the renovated Doc at Work - Future Campus space represents an important opportunity for educational growth for both audiences and professionals, offering meetings, debates, workshops, presentation of educational projects, and market-oriented events. Doc at Work - Future Campus appointments foster meetings between aspiring filmmakers, film masters, festival programmers and other documentary film professionals.
Doc at Work - Future Campus has three main goals: it wants to be an observatory from which to look at the future of international documentary cinema, through the works of a generation of emerging filmmakers and cinematographers who are being trained or have been trained in European schools in recent years; at the same time, Doc at Work Future Campus aims to be a training space, able to offer these young talents new tools to develop their practice in the field of documentary cinema thanks to the meeting with filmmakers and other actors in the field who can share their skills and experiences; Doc at Work - Future Campus finally aspires to establish itself as a reference point for the young generation of documentary professionals in Italy, offering a platform for meeting, collaboration, internationalization and professional growth.

These three actions combine and retro-fuel each other, fostering the training of participants, the creation of international professional networks, the exchange of skills and experiences, as well as the birth of future collaborations. The goal is to build a fertile meeting space that can mark an important transition in the participants' trajectories, offering visibility to their work, tools for their professional practice, and an expanded network of contacts to pursue future projects.
